Dr. Wolfgang Wünsche is a non-executive director and chairman of several advisory boards. In 2007 he founded Advisory Board International, a consultancy firm specializing in management mandates and supervisory board functions.
Dr Wünsche's competence is based on many years of operational experience as an international marketing director and as the person responsible for building up and expanding the worldwide cosmetics and body care business of the Beiersdorf Group, the manufacturer of NIVEA, Eucerin, La Prairie, Labello and other well-known brands.
As the Corporate Vice President Business Development he was also a board member of many subsidiaries around the world. He was responsible for the development of new markets in Asia and Eastern Europe, for brand, pricing and product range strategies that were globally consistent yet also culturally sensitive, and for the management of global subsidiaries and joint venture partners. Dr. Wünsche was the CEO of a joint-stock company for many years. He built up its international key account management and played a leading role in a variety of M & A projects.
